L.Q. Why was the State of Israel created? Monday- Israel DBQ: Students will complete their rough drafts and begin typing their final drafts Tuesday- Israel DBQ: Students will be in the computer lab typing their final draft Wednesday- Israel DBQ: Students will be in the computer lab typing their final draft Thursday- Israel DBQ: Students will be in the computer lab typing their final draft and turn in if completed Friday- Israel DBQ: Students will spend class finishing and turning in their completed DBQ essays (Classes will be shortened due to Color Battle) Final draft of the DBQ will be due Friday 11/1 Modern Middle East Conflict vocab quiz Wednesday 11/13 Note: Due to copyrights I cannot post any of the DBQ materials on my blog. Monday- Israel DBQ: Students will read and analyze Document A Tuesday- Israel DBQ: Students will read and analyze Document B Wednesday- Israel DBQ: Students will read and analyze Document D Thursday- Israel DBQ: Students will finish the document analysis and begin working on the "DBQ Guided Essay" Friday- Israel DBQ: Students will finish working on the "DBQ Guided Essay" and start their rough draft of thier DBQ essay. Final draft of the DBQ will be due Friday 11/1 Note: Due to copyrights I cannot post any of the DBQ materials on my blog. Monday- 1/2 day for conference week. Students will begin work on the DBQ on the creation of Israel. Students will read the background essay. Tuesday- 1/2 day for conference week. Student will complete reading the background essay and work on Background essay questions Wednesday- 1/2 day for conference week. Students will complete the Background Essay Questions and go over the answers. Thursday- 1/2 day for conference week. Students will start working on the "Hook" activity and pre-bucketing sheet. Friday- 1/2 day for conference week. Students will begin to read and analyze Document A for the DBQ Note: Due to copyrights I cannot post any of the DBQ materials on my blog.
